Things That Might Matter

Maybe I can just keep collecting books whose titles lead me to expectations of the life lessons and insights that will help me be a better person or help me get past something. The Notebook. I guess I lost a great deal of me when I had to give up something that I believed in all of my life. I hope to love that way again. I have so much to give. I hope that I will love enough to give that from my heart and self to another. As a woman I need that. I just hope to fall in wonderful love again. I have so much to give... and so little trust.

Laughing Down Lonely Canyons

Fear corrodes my dreams tonight and mist has greyed
        my hills,
Mountains seem too tall to climb, December winds
        are chill.
There's no comfort on the earth, I am a child
